Carol-Ann's House is named after a long-standing board member of Fundy Region Transition House Inc. Her belief was truly that all individuals deserve to live a life free from abuse, and to empower women to reach their full potential.
The Second Stage Program is designed to support women and their dependent children who have had to leave their home due to physical, emotional, verbal, sexual, and/or financial abuse. The program allows time to rebuild their lives, to set and reach goals, and to continue on with life free from violence and abuse. Second Stage is a co-operative living experience designed to build confidence and encourage independence. There is a month-to-month lease for 12 months, with the possibility of extension if needed.
Each situation will be evaluated on an individual basis.
